The women in Sinjar City are facing a lack of vocational skills and professional development opportunities, which could support them economically, socially, and psychologically in the current challenging circumstances in the city. The project of “Enhancing Safety and Economic Opportunities for IDPs and Returnees,” implemented by Al-Maslah Human Resources Development Organization in partnership with the International Rescue Committee (IRC), has successfully empowered another group of women in Sinjar City in the field of salon services, enabling them to obtain a sustainable source of income and enhance their socio-psychological well-being.
